Science at Sunbury College is hands-on. From Year 7 our students do real Science in real labs — eye and rat dissections, chemical reactions, light and energy experiments — with full OHS safety training.
Year 7–10
Our Year 7–10 program covers Science as a human endeavour, and the Biological, Chemical, Physical, and Earth and Space Sciences. We develop the inquiry skills students need to succeed in VCE and beyond:
- Questioning and predicting
- Planning and investigating
- Recording, processing and analysing
- Evaluating and communicating
VCE Sciences
We offer four VCE Sciences, often a prerequisite for tertiary study in health, medicine, engineering and the sciences:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Psychology
Where Science can take you
Sunbury graduates have gone on to careers in electrical and engineering trades, health sciences, medicine, research, environmental science, space science, and sports science.
